When a person’s diet contains carbohydrates more than what can be burnt, it is converted into fats and stored in the body in various places. Fats that are stored in the abdomen are called visceral fats, which happen to be very tough to get rid of, comparing to fats that are stored in any other parts of the body. Visceral fats are dangerous as they hinder the functioning of the human body by wrapping around internal organs causing heart disease, stroke, blood pressure, insulin resistance and so on. Though it is tough to get rid of such fats, we shall see some ways how these fats can be reduced step by step until it is completely burnt. The first rule to remember is that obese persons are habituated to overeat for the reason that their food is devoid of certain essential nutrients. So choosing food with all the required nutrients can put an end to this issue. Low fat Greek Yogurt is completely balanced food as it is packed with all the essential nutrients required by the human body. The milk protein called casein present in Yogurt takes a longer time to digest, so nullifies carvings for unhealthy ‘in-between meals’ food. Consuming an apple before every meal, brings down the quantity of a person's excess food intake, and this alone has been promoted by experts as “three apples a day” diets plan.
The ayurvedic way is very effective to dissolve even the stubborn visceral fats. This is done by using garlic and honey. Garlic preferably the smaller variety is removed of the inner skin, then cut into small bits and soaked in honey. This mixture is effective only when taken on an empty stomach early in morning, even before taking the usual coffee or tea. After taking this mixture, avoid eating or drinking anything else for at least forty-five minutes.
The diet experts believe that apart from changing a person's food habits it is essential to take one supplementary super food which can add as an effective arsenal to the other existing strategies mentioned in this article. One such super food is "Spirulina" which is an algae and fortunately available in all Super Markets. It is available in powder form, but has to be mixed with honey to be ingested. The best form is tablets of 2000 mg available in containers of 180 pieces. A normal person can take 5 tablets in a day in regular intervals of time schedule. Spirulina contains all essential nutrients without any exception. The (Gamma Linoleic Acid ) GLA and Omega 3 fatty acids can take care of the toughest fat. The four antioxidants present in Spirulina can bring down the free radicals, thereby also helps in rejuvenation.
Last but not the least is exercise to burn the fats. But this opens up a lot of questions like how much of exercise is enough. Am I overdoing my exercises or not doing it to the required extent ? What is the time that I should allocate for my daily exercise? Well if you are already into something please continue with that, but for reducing visceral fat just add one more step. This exercise is done early in the morning only for one minute before taking any food and preferably after emptying your bowls. Lay down with your stomach on the bed. Using your elbows and feet, raise your body from the bed. Your body should be straight and parallel from the bed, resting only on elbows and feet. Remain in this position for a minute.
It may not be possible to start all the strategies on a single day but start with whatever you can and then add the other methods and believe to get the best results, as mindset also plays a significant role.
