Let's get ready to be smarter than your kid's teacher by applying the following techniques and win the day.
First of all, you have to allot a small corner to your kids, making your kids feel like being in class. Make sure THEY ARE SITTING. We all know blankets and beds make us lazy and lethargic. Like adults, kids lose their energies while in the bad and feel attractive to spread the sheets and feel cozy. So once you are off the bed, immediately fold your blankets and comforters. Adding more to the point, this is the practice done by all the soldiers while at their training days (regardless of all army of all the countries). They are trained based on "the first task of the day," which drives them to achieve the rest of them. So if you can make your kids SIT RIGHT at the right time, Viola!!!! Your half job is already done.
Adding to this point, it will be great if you could manage to prints some posters or sight words around this area. And don't bother about the decore of the room. You haven't taken your home to the school buy the school came to your home. Embrace it!!!
Secondly, make a WhatsApp group with the relevant class teacher and other moms ( I suggest you request the teacher to be the administrator of the group so no other will be annoying at the odd time). Here the teachers will be publishing the worksheet for the upcoming day. And you can get the prints and put them on your kid's writing table.
Thirdly make sure you have SET AN ALARM according to your kids time table provided by the school. It's just a one-time job for the whole academic year but trust me, it will make your kid alarming ( you can name the alarm with the subject name).
The fourth tip is for the parent who leaves the E leaner and feels guilty of being away. Here you can add your account as an additional gadget, and u can always upload or check the assignment submitted by your kids.
Fifth is last but not least. By the end of every week, you can always check upcoming assignments and projects submission deadlines. The weekend is the time where u can get the things at their workplace, and the rest of the kids are smart enough to follow your alarm and join the called meetings.
In the end, I would like to acknowledge your tremendous effort and remember this shall pass too. It's just a patch where u can make or break you kids learning skill. Cash the pandemic and make them learn a little ahead. Remember, it might look like a painless job, but one day, your kids will be thanking you for going some extra once they will be landing in the practical world. Till then, keep going and keep shining.
