This city was once the largest trade hub in Syria. It was home to ancient art, sports, and schools. However, due to its unfortunate location, it became the front line for the Civil Way in Syria that sparked in 2011. Parts of the city remain under siege to this day. The entire country has been deemed a war zone and unsafe for travel.

2. Caracas, Venezuela 

The country of Venezuela is currently facing an age of economic depression unseen in recent history. Caracas, the country's capital, has now become to violence and drug-related gang wars. Muggings and murder are commonplace, making this once-beloved city an undesireable tourist destination. Not many other cities in Venezuela are doing better than Caracas.

The sad state that Kabul is currently in has made the country less than inhospitable for travelers, especially those from Western societies. Bombings, kidnappings, and general gang-related volence have become rampant in Kabul.

4. Sanaa, Yemen 

Ever since the catastrophic bombing that took place at several World Heritage sites in Sanaa in 2015, the country has been in economic and political turmoil. Foreigners are strongly advised not to visit the city at the risk of falling victim to another unpredictable terror attack.

5. Acapulco, Mexico 

Not too long ago, Acapulco, Mexico, was a safe haven and popular destination for travelers looking to hit the beaches. However, statistics show that the city has one of the highest murder rates in the world. If you feel like risking it, you'll be advised to say within the property of the resort you're visiting but be warned that crimes usually take place just outside.

6. Mumbai, India 

This city located on the country's west coast is the capital of Maharashtra state. It's an urbanized city that's home to more than 10million people from all over the country. However, terririst activity, rape, and scams on tourists and locals alike put everybody on a state of constant fear. If you're a women looking to travel alone to aforeign land, avoid going through Mumbai.
