18-25 year olds: How Help us understand skincare pad use among your age group.

In 2012, less than 20% of U.S. women ages 18-24 rated anti-aging skincare as essential, according to a poll conducted by the NPD Group, a market research firm. In 2014, anti-aging skincare was ranked as the second-most purchased skincare category, according to Statista.

This shift in consumer behavior has seen the majority of people become more comfortable with their own skin, and rather than using makeup to hide it, they are using skincare products to enhance their skin's overall look. Google Trends data on skincare products specifically targeting skin care, like Retinol and Acid Exfoliants has skyrocketed over the last year, seeing nearly a 500% rise in searches, as women have taken advantage of this time in their homes to embrace their own skin, and are looking for ways to wear less makeup once lockdown is over. In 2018, another U.S.-focused study from beauty consumer analysts The Benchmarking Company found that over 50% of women aged 18-24 said they wanted to include anti-wrinkle products in their regimen.

The survey also found that those aged 25-44 and over 65 were just as likely to devote equal amounts of time to their skincare routines. Our findings indicate that the majority of younger individuals spend more time on their skincare routines (those younger than 25) than do members of other age groups.

We know the residue left by hard water causes irritation, clogs pores and contributes to dry, itchy skin, so we decided to ask more than 2000 of our female customers how much time they spent each day with their skincare routines above age 2. To see how long it takes you to stick with a skincare routine for results, experts told us it could take a minimum of one month for the skin to improve. Following a skincare routine for a minimum of three months, means that there may be three cycles of turnover in your epidermis, which will give you plenty of time to see improvements in your skin.

Immediately, your skin feels hydrated and feels smooth, and with continued usage, fine lines and wrinkles are clearly reduced. It also reduces the first signs of aging, including fine lines, elasticity loss, and dry skin, with continued use over time. Skin feels nourished and moisturized right away, and fine lines and sagging are noticeably reduced as you use it consistently over time.

As you get older, the skin on your neck becomes creased, which is different from what is seen on your face with regard to fine lines and wrinkles. At your age, the wrinkles may gradually show up and get more noticeable, because your skin loses firmness, making you appear older.

Wrinkles and dark circles are almost certain to occur after reaching your thirties, as a result of stress combined with the natural process of aging, but there are some products that you can use that will help to prevent these fine lines from appearing, while increasing your moisture levels. As we mentioned, using the right anti-aging products can help to lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as keep the sun damage at bay. For starters, using products with high dosages of antioxidants and vitamin A derivatives, such as Retinol, along with regular chemical exfoliation, will help you keep your skin looking and feeling smooth, which allows you to age a bit more like George Clooney and a bit less like Keith Richards.

Anti-wrinkle creams are specially designed to address various stages in your skincare -- and aging -- journey. Including more moisturizing products in each stage of your routine is crucial if you want to lock in the valuable natural oils in your skin, and protect your skin's outermost layers from water loss, which can leave you looking dry and flaky. Oil production slows after 40, so you will need to replenish your skin from the outside more often. Now, when looking for healthy skin past age 40, you are probably going to need the help of your physician if you want to get a quick recovery, as well as a scar-free (because it is just a little bigger).
