It is no secret that antioxidants have great potential for good health. It is believed that antioxidants in the diet can help prevent cancer, slow down or slow down aging, improve your immune system, increase your stamina and improve heart health and other organs. Given all we know about Antioxidants and their beneficial properties, it is amazing how many people do not get enough fruits and vegetables, the main sources of Antioxidants. Experts recommend at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily, but say that getting 7-10 meals is best. There are 10 steps to getting more antioxidants in your diet. 1 Breakfast does not have to be a quick toaster tart on the way out the door. Toss strawberries, 100% juice and yogurt in a blender; pour your sweet mixture into a cup and head for the door. You have just added one to three fruits in your daily diet. Or toss the berries in your cold or hot cereal. It says you really don’t have time in the morning 'and' you usually catch something when you run. Even the Golden Arches can be helpful here. Order fruit and yogurt parfait and slices of apple. For about $2, you have breakfast that offers one to two servings of fruit. 2 Easy food Here's an easy way to get the most out of your antioxidants. What about a few dried grapes for a snack, or fresh grapes? Sprinkle strawberries in yogurt. You will feel dehydrated, but the berries give you the color you want. Need crunch? What about other baby carrots immersed in hummus? Consider a handful of pecans for crunch and a good antioxidant boost. 3 Lunch and dinner It may sound unpleasant, but adding a salad to your daily diet may add weight to your overall health and well-being. It doesn’t have to be boring, and it shouldn’t be just a vegetable salad. If you are going to go further, add slices of red pepper to your green salad, some tomatoes in a Greek salad, or tart cranberries in your garden vegetables. Pick up a broccoli salad for lunch, or have an adventure and combine the rice salad with fresh vegetable juices like chopped beans, tomatoes, peppers and red onions. 4 Uphudingi Barrie's with or without whipped cream or chocolate, are a great way to end your day with a healthy, antioxidant diet. 5 Drips Replace your soda with tea or coffee, both of which boast antioxidant compounds. Have a glass of wine for dinner, or a real change of pace, and pour a glass of tea. 6 Think outside the box We know we can get our antioxidant fixes from berries, salads and the like, but researchers say strong antioxidants can also be found in a variety of unexpected foods, such as russet potatoes, artichokes, and small red beans. In fact, beans may have more antioxidant power than blueberries, experts say. So in your vegetable salad full of vegetables, add beans to get extra antioxidants. 7 Cook less You think you are right, you prepare vegetables every night for your family dinner. But if you overcook vegetables, you are cooking a lot of beneficial antioxidants. Hot vegetables (do not boil it), and stop cooking when it will have all of its bright color and its many bites. 8 Plant a garden Experts believe that people who grow and harvest vegetables in their backyards are more likely to eat vegetables and fruits than people who buy their produce at a store. So plant a field, watch it grow, and eat the fruit (literally) of your labor. 9 Take your healthy food on vacation Many of us think of going on vacation as an opportunity to take a vacation at everything, including healthy eating. Think of a holiday as a way to introduce new food. Order an interesting vegetarian meal at a restaurant and pay attention to how the chef prepares the meal. 10 Learn to cook When you cook, you do not open the bags and the boxes. Cooking includes scraping and peeling vegetables, preparing complete meals, and paying attention to how things are cooked. If you order every night, you are less likely to eat all foods and natural fruits and vegetables that provide the basis for our antioxidant intake.
