GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN’ with 8.1 million sold copies and released on February 6, 2003 stand strong with 10th on the list. Dropped from Columbia Record label in 2002 and then signed to Shady/ Aftermath which was the label formed by Eminem and Dr. Dre. This was regarded as the comeback album for 50 cents and became a huge success. Consisting of 20 tracks and 6 bonus tracks with 2 Japan release bonus tracks and 1 UK bonus tracks the album lasts up to 53 minutes and 44 seconds.

The album consists of 13 singles and 7 collaboration tracks with famous artists like Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, etc. The album falls under the Gangsta genre rap type. The album received awards like “Juno Awards for International Album for the year in 2004”, Billboard Music Awards for Top Billboard 200 Album in 2003, American Music Awards for Favorite Album Rap in 2003, and Echo Award for Hip Hop Urban Artist. The album consists of a song named “ In Da Club” which was just the opposite of Cent’s situation as he was aware of the fact that many people were searching for him who wished Death point on him. I don’t know whether he was giving his location or playing with them. Why ask me? I was not the one making the song.

The album achieved a diamond certificate which was the eighth albums to receive it.

The album's songs made it perfect to play at parties with a pop fusion in it. This album also proved to be great to hike the growth of Nelly’s career and also opened his gate to the film industry. The album was also praised by artists like Michael Jackson. The album was also nominated for Grammy in 2001. It also became the best-selling St. Louis album ever. The album songs still prove to be a party banger and still played in many clubs.

 

8) LICENSED TO ILL - BEASTIE BOYS

LICENSED TO ILL with 9 million copies sold and released on November 15, 1986 stands 8th on this list. The album came from the Columbia record label. The album consists of 13 songs with some songs acting as a spoof of songs in another album. The album proved a comeback to its producer Rick Rubin who after a falling career was given a rise off. The Beastie Boys consisting of Adam Yauch, Ad-Rock, Mike D, Kate Schellenbach, John Berry also shared the stage with famous artists like Madonna.

The album consists of 13 tracks lasting 44 minutes and 33 seconds. The whole album's songs were based on genre type Rap Rock. Fun Fact the album was renamed as it was first named Don’t Be a Faggot which was refused by the manager of Beastie Boys as it raised the topic of homophobic. I think the album is much similar or sounded alike to James bond's movie License to kill?

 

7) ALL EYEZ ON ME - 2 PAC (TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR)

2 Pac, regarded as one of the greatest of all time, lost his life at the early age of 25 years. ALL EYEZ ON ME with 9 million copies sold and released on February 13, 1996, stands 7th on this list. This album was the last album of 2 Pac before his death. The album's name was just inspired by the feelings of 2 Pac as all was just looking to him with jealousy or to sue him with false allegations. 2 Pac was signed under Death Row which was one of the most famous labels of the 1990s.

The album consists of 27 songs lasting 132 minutes and 20 seconds. The album consists of famous collaborations with artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, etc. The album was full of mixed feelings as it contains motivational songs like “No more Pain”, “Life Goes On” etc., and chill songs like “California Love”, “All About U” etc. The album got its Diamond certificate in 2014 and also received a Soul Train award in 1997. Hold on tight because there is more by Tupac.

The album consists of 25 songs with songs like “Dear Mama” one of the emotional songs of the whole album and ranked at the top of my list. “Changes” on this album was also nominated for a Grammy Award, it was the first 2 Pac’s song to be nominated for a Grammy. 2 Pac’s death still remains a mystery.

PLEASE HAMMER, DON’T HURT’ EM with 10 million copies sold and released on February 12, 1990, was one of the rap albums that marked the rise of hip hop and raised rap music to be praised by new populations. The album consists of 13 songs with a total duration of 59 minutes and 4 seconds. The album consists of songs like “U Can’t Touch This”, “Have You Seen Her” which are regarded as greatest hits.

The album stayed at the top for consecutive 28 weeks and was the most selling album of 1990. The album also marked top position for 21 weeks on the US Billboard 200. The album also received the “Soul Train Music Award in 1991” etc. I think Hammer didn’t hurt anyone with this album as it was a great hit.

The album is completely based on Eminem’s prominence in the culture of Hip Hop. The whole album is a sit-back of Slim Shady( Eminem’s alter ego) and himself Eminem coming forward.

The album consists of songs with great lyricism and songs with great internal rhyming. The album consists of 20 songs and 11 bonus tracks. The tracklist consists of great motivational tracks like “TILL I COLLAPSE”, “WITHOUT ME” and many more. The album also consists of features like Dr. Dre, D12, Nate Dogg, and many more. It also received Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. I must say it was a great show to listen to rather than watch.

 

3) LIFE AFTER DEATH BY THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. ( CHRISTOPHER GEORGE LATORRE WALLACE)

One of the great poets and storytellers of all time THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. marks 3rd with his album "LIFE AFTER DEATH". The album has 10.2 million sold copies. Released on March 25, 1997, was a continuation of his last album Ready To Die. The album consists of 25 songs and lasting up to 120 minutes and 39 seconds in double disc variation.

The album consists of great hits like “Hypnotize”, “Somebody’s Gotta Die” and many more. The album also consists of great features Jay-Z ‘ Lil Kim, Angela Winbush, Too Short, etc. The album will really give you a roller coaster ride to life after death and bring you back to the present life will great feelings and love for all.
