10. Traffic fines
We often see traffic police charging drivers for violating traffic rules. This is illegal and dangerous to road safety. Traffic police will charge you on the nature of the offense. Do you know that no person should be fined twice for the same offense unless it is overspeeding or if you lost receipt of an earlier fine? On that day, you will not be fined even though you did the same offense many times. For example, if you are fined for not wearing a helmet on that day, you will not be fined again for not wearing the helmet until midnight clock. But don't misuse this rule .follow traffic rules.
9.Arrest
When a police officer arrests you, the police officer should follow a procedure following the rules he has to follow during an arrest. You have a right to know the reason for the arrest. No police should arrest you without an arrest warrant. Taking permission from the judge to arrest is called a warrant. If he arrests you without a warrant, you can file a case on him and make him imprisoned. For only non-cognizable offenses like cheating, forgery, public essence, the police need a warrant. For cognizable offenses like murder, rape, kidnap, robbery, the police do not need a warrant. Within 24 hours of arrest, the culprit or accused should be produced in front of a judge. If it doesn't happen like this, you can file a case against the police. If the police mistreated you during the arrest, you could explain it to the judge. Then the police will be punished.
If your mistake were small, bail would be received faster. If the mistake too considerable, giving bail will be in the hand of the court.
8.drinking water and washroom usage in hotels
According to the Indian saris( lodges) act, 1867, any individuals can ask for water free of cost from any hotel at any time for themselves and their pets. Furthermore, he or she can use the washroom for free. No one can stop you. It is your right
Required saris( lodges) have to provide free drinking water and toilet facility for persons and their pets.
7.Devolution of property
If a man dies and if didn't write a testament, his property would be equally devolution between his wife, children, and parents. According to the testament, if he writes a testament, the property is devolution; the property earned by him on his own can be devolution as his will or may not devolution to anyone. Even he can give it to a stranger. If he receives the property as ancestorship, the property can only be shared among his wife, parents, and children.
This rule is only for Hindus.
6.License check
As mentioned in the motor vehicles act 1932, it is illegal for traffic police to take away your vehicle keys forcefully. Your police officer, irrespective of his or her authority, can include in this sort of action. Nowadays, most clients are facing these typespesesof situations. Even though it is illegal, most police officers do like that. I it happens to you next time, keep this in your mind and remember their limit.
5.MRP
generally, when you are buying a product, we pay according to the MRP. But there is no need to do that. MRP means maximum retail price. In this, maximum manufacturing cost, maximum transportation cost, maximum middle man commission, etc., are included. This means you should not sell a product above MRP. The product at a low cost. This is why most of the merchants sell the product by offering some discount on MRP. Every consumer has a right to bargain below the MRP. If anyone sells a product above MRP, you can complain to the district consumer forum. We often see people charging more on refrigeration, but the cost of refrigeration was already included in MRP. You can complain about these people too. Selling the same product in 2 different places with 2 different MRP s is also a crime
4.woman
Do you know that a woman should be arrested by a female police officer only? A male police officer cannot arrest a woman. From evening 6 pm to morning 6 am, we shouldn't arrest a woman and take her to the police station. If the woman commits a big mistake, any police can arrest her at any time, but for that, the police officer needs to write permission from the local judge, and him/ she has to show it to the woman who committed a mistake. If it doesn't happen in the following procedure, the woman can file a case against the police; then, the police officer will be imprisoned for a maximum of six months.
3. Parking fee
We shouldn't collect parking fees in shopping malls, multiplexes, or any commercial complexes. When a commercial building is being constructed, 45 % built-up area should be provided for parking. If it was a multiplex 66% built-up area should be provided for parking. All malls should have designed lots, with space to anywhere between 500-10,000 two and four-wheelers depending upon the popularity. But most of the commercial complexes do not follow this rule. If anyone charges a parking fee, you complain to the district consumer forum.
2.Pregnant women
No pregnant woman should be removed from her job. If it happens, she can file a case against the company. The company owner would be imprisoned for 3 years. After delivery, the woman can take a paid leave for 12 to 26 weeks or else she worksome. This means even though she didn't go to the workplace, the company should pay her. These rules are mentioned in the maternity benefit act1961.this
The act applies to all establishments employing more than 10 persons.
1.LPG cylinder insurance
Do you know that you can claim insurance of 50 lakhs if any damage occurs due to the explosion of the LPG cylinder? Every house utilizes domestic LPG(liquified petroleum gas) cylinders. Every person who is having an LPG cylinder is ensured by default. This information was unknown to most people. So, for Insurance, you need not pay any extra money. If any property damage or human casualty happens due to the LPG cylinder explosion, you can claim insurance. For that, you have to file a complaint immediately at the nearest police station. You have to inform them about the explosion to the distributer. Then the case will be moved on to the court. The court will pay you 40 lakhs to 50 lakhs Exgracia from the insurance companies according to the damage severity. If a person dies in the accident5 lakhs, Exgracia will be given. If a person was injured, 1 lakh per head Will be given for medical expenses. If any property were damaged, 50 lakhs of Engracia would be given as this rule was unknown to most people, no one claim insurance.
