4)Blood Pumping
Our heart is one of the important parts of our body. This pumps the blood to our body and filters the blood. It pumps about 2.4 ounces of blood per beat and for 1 minute it pumps 1.5 gallons of blood and it pumps about 1 million barrels of blood. Isn't that mind-blowing.
5)Production Of blood cells
That's 120 million Blood cells to be exact. The cells are made inside the bone marrow and are tasked with carrying oxygen and removing carbon dioxide from the body. That's a pretty factor that is keeping us alive.
6)Bone Repairing
Bones are living tissues that are constantly breaking down and rebuilding as even stronger tissue. Every ten years we have an entirely new skeleton. Isn't that amazing, and without this, we have to deal with a lot more broken bones?
7)Blood cleaning
Our two kidneys are on a 24/7 job. They filter blood in our body and sending back clean blood. What do you think how much do they clean? It is about 1.2 Liters per minute or 180 liters per day. An average adult body contains about 4.5 to 5.5 liters of blood. It means that our blood is filtered more than 30 times per day. It is shocking. So take care of your kidneys.

9)It sends nerve impulses
A single neuron can send about 1000 nerve impulses every second. A healthy brain has about 200 billion neurons. That adds up to 12,000,000,000,000,000 signals being sent through our brain.
10)Energy usage
One calorie from the food equals 4200J of energy. A person who consumes 2000 calories per day uses about 5832 joules of energy per minute. That person could power a bulb with only his/her body. If you didn't know that do comment below.
